Mysterious death of Cherji youth

Kishtwar, Nov 13: Nearly 12 days after Kishtwar police party lead by Dy. SP HQ Kishtwar Touseef Ahmed seized the dead of the deceased youth identified by the police sources as Kuldeep Kumar son of Sundar Singh resident of Cherji Kishtwar minutes before his cremation from the cremation ground situated some 20 KM from Kishtwar town in Dool area today converted the inquest proceedings started by the police U/S 174 Cr.Pc converted into FIR and registered a formal FIR No. 196/2015 U/S 304-II RPC and 3/25 Arms Act at police Station Kishtwar against his own police personal identified by the police sources as SPO Leela Ram son of Prem Nath also resident of Cherji Kishtwar who happens to be the cousin brother of the deceased.
As per the details available with “Early Times”, after the incident reported on November 1, 2015 when the family members instead of reporting the matter to police tried to cremate the dead body of the deceased, but timely and swift action of Kishtwar police, Dy. SP HQ Kishtwar Touseef Ahmed manage to take the custody of the dead body from cremation ground and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Kishtwar for autopsy so as to ascertain the cause of the death.
During preliminary investigation it was found that the primary cause of the death of the deceased was due to bullet injury and after detail investigation of the case it was found that the deceased died due to fire opened by the accused and accordingly arrested him.
While talking to “Early Times” senior police officer said that police at initial stage has started an inquest proceedings under section 174 Cr.Pc to ascertain the real cause and circumstances that lead to the death of the deceased. He said that after detail investigation of the case it was found that the deceased died due to the negligence of the accused person and accordingly the accused was booked and arrested for the cause of the death of the deceased.
