Jammu, Nov 13: Hiranagar police station SHO, Inspector Sarabjeet Singh was today placed under suspension by DGP K Rajendra for displaying laxities in updating daily dairy (Roznamcha Report).
The suspension was made effective when police chief paid on spot visit to the police station and during inspection of records found laxities .
The DGP was in Hiranagar to attend the funeral procession of DSP Naresh Gupta. Later, he also paid a visit to the Hiranagar Police Station. He was accompined by DIG Jammu Kathua range Ashkoor Ahmed Wani besides other police officers.
Sources said while inspecting the police station record, Rajendra realised that the daily dairy, which was an important part of the thana working, was not properly maintained. Following this, he ordered the SHO's suspension. |
