Porters Asso stages protest, highlight demands 12/1/2015 10:49:27 PM Early Times Report Udhampur Dec 1: Alleging centre and state governments adopting callous approach towards their issues, the Porters Association Udhampur today staged the protest at Gole Market Udhampur and highlighted various long pending demands. Led by Romesh Kumar the protestors amid slogans in support of their demands staged protest and demanded early redressal of the demands. Addressing the gathering, Romesh Kumar said that we have been struggling to get justice for last one year and even have staged protest demonstration but all in vain. He said that we offered a helping hand to indian army since 1999 in Kargil War and then centre govt has assured them permanent job for their due help to nation and Indian army in much needed time thereafter the centre and state governments had failed to fulfill the promise.
