Farooq, Radha Kumar demoralizing defense forces, helping anti-national forces: Manjit

Vijaypur, Dec 1: Condemning the recent PoK remarks from National Conference president Farooq Abdullah and Radha Kumar an interlocutor, the former minister and PCC General Secretary Manjit Singh today said that these remarks from the said two persons will demoralize the moral of the Indian army and other forces.
"I will suggest Abdullah not to give such statement which discourages morale of the Indian Defense forces who lay down their lives for the cause of nation in J&K" said Manjit Singh, while speaking at the monthly meeting of the Congress party workers in Vijaypur.
He said Abdullah being a senior political figure in Jammu and Kashmir should refrain from giving such statement - militants will not end with the deployment of huge army.
"The Pakistan occupied Kashmir is also the part of Jammu and Kashmir and integral part of India, Singh said and added, "we should not forget the sacrifices of the soldiers and civilian killed in the Pak sponsored terrorism in the State from last over two decades."
He also said that innocents were killed by the militants and attempt to derail the peace process was always made by such elements who have been indirectly got support from these leaders. "These statements will not only demoralize forces and but encourage the anti-national elements who are bent upon to disrupt peace in Jammu and Kashmir also," he further added.
Refering to remarks from interlocutor Radha Kumar saying 'in next ten years J&K will not be with India,' Manjit Singh said she should be rethink over her statement in media.
He also threatened if the produce of the farmers would not be given compensated, they will come on the road and launch agitation in support of their demands. The government has not given compensation to farmers whose land falls ahead of fence along the International Border, he added. "The package announced by the PM Narendra Modi in Kashmir has nothing in kitty for the displaced persons, while Congress-NC Government had announced Rs 25 lakhs per family," he said. Congress leader also said, "Modi led Government and State Government are doing wrong propaganda to mislead the innocent who have been displaced from their houses following hostility between India and Pakistan."
