JMC seals premises in Rehari housing a bank 12/8/2015 10:20:53 PM Early Times Report Jammu De 8: Intensifying its drive against the violations, the Enforcement staff of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) under instructions from Mandeep Kaur (IAS), Municipal Commissioner today sealed the commercial premisesin Rehari housing a bank on ground floor but lacking parking space causing inconvenience to smooth flow of traffic in area. According to official spokesperson, the enforcement team under the supervision of R S Jamwal, Joint Commissioner (Adm) today continuing its drive against violators, today sealed a commercial complex in Reahari which houses a bank also. "In the said building there was no provision for parking the vehicles and the vehicles were illegally parked outside the bank by the customers and the staff creating bottleneck and causing inconvenience to the general public and also creating hindrance in the free flow of vehicular traffic leading to traffic jams," said the JMC official, adding, "the action has been taken under the provisions of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988." Meantime the Jammu Municipal Corporation once again has appealed to the general public to refrain from making encroachments and unauthorized/constructions in violation of land use otherwise action as admissible under rule leading to demolition/sealing will be taken.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
