Govt secretly tracking corrupt officials
12/8/2015 11:38:40 PM

Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 8: The Government is seriously tracking the functioning of the some senior officials indulging in corruption. The Government has secretly tasked officials with impeccable integrity to track these officials.
"The Government has reports even after officials were sacked by the Government in the first instances, some important officials have not changed their tactics and are still taking huge bribe and these are to be sacked in an exemplary manner," said the sources.
According to the sources the Government has tasked some key officials to make record of such officers including their income, the assets being created by them and even benami transactions. The officials may even be caught red-handed.
"The Government strategy is to expose these senior officials taking bribe. There is also a move to expose the files of the officials who have tampered with them or circumvented them to favour some for exchange of huge money," said the sources
The sources said the proposal to expose the files which had being or were being tampered by senior officials is being discussed with CM, who is not opposed to this idea.
"It will be the first of its kind when tampered files are made public. The officials will then be not only publicly humiliated but it would act as deterrent to the other officials for not tampering them. The officials have a way of closing the files especially those against whom serious charges are levelled and get away. But when the files will be made it will show them their real face," said the sources.
Sources said the CM is very particular in rooting out the corruption which is believed to be one of the reasons for alienation and gives fodder to the militancy and radicalistion.
"Taking tough action against senior officials and exposing them publicly will make believe have faith in the Government and it will have a double affect of cutting down the radicalisation and this is twin edged strategy," said the sources.
