ReTs Forum threatens Civil Secretariat 'gherao' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 8: Rehabar-e-Taleem Teachers Forum (JKReTTF) has threatened to 'gherao of assembly-the Civil Secretariat in Jammu to press the Government to fulfill their demands. Talking to media persons Chairman of the JKReTTF Farooq Ahmed Tantrey today said if the state govt fails to fulfill their demands they (ReTs) will come on roads in thousands throughout the state and also gherao assembly. Mr Tantrey further said that ReT Teachers are being forced to come on roads by the wrong policies of govt and further added that state government itself will be responsible for any kind of law and order situation as they will intensify their ongoing stir in support of their demands. In a statement JKReTTF chairman demanded that the State Government to consider their other genuine demands and address them immediately. "We appeal to the Government for enhancement of wages, regularization ten thousands ReTs who have completed five years tenure and release of pending salaries for six months," the statement added. Among others present in this media interaction were State Convener JKReTTF, State Secretary, Publicity Secretary, Provincial President Jammu and others. |
