BDA organises cleanliness drive under 'Swachh Bharat Mission' | | | Early Times Report
BHADERWAH, Dec 8: Bhaderwah Development Authority observed Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and is organising campaign of Swachha Bharat Mission at various tourist destinations of Bhaderwah including religious places, tourism and Heritage sites from Dec 8 to 19. BDA has installed flex boards near all religious places and heritage sites have cleanliness messages, the entry tickets to tourist spots are also being re-printed with the cleanliness message on its back side. While launching cleanliness drive Chief Executive Officer BDA Balkrishan said, "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a dream mission of country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India heads towards the path of transforming it into hygiene and sanitation practicing nation. Bhaderwah receives thousands of tourists every month. We will ensure all religious place, tourism and heritage sites remain clean. "Our participation will also encourage locals and tourists to keep these beautiful sites clean" CEO said, adding Cleanliness should be part of national character and "Swachh Bharat Abhiyan" should be a people's movement. Bhaderwah is blessed with beautiful natural treasures; some are marvellous man created sites. Roshina, Accounts Officer BDA appealed tourist and local people of Bhaderwah to join hands for Swachh Bharat Mission to make Bhaderwah clean and green. She informed that BDA will also conduct road shows, organise awareness camps and many such activities during this fortnight drive across the Bhaderwah in order to create awareness among the people. |
