Ramban, Dec 8: In order to check the punctuality in the government offices, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ramban, Ravinder Sadhu along with Tehsildar Batote paid surprise visit in different government offices at Batote and initiated action against nine absentees including DFO, ZEO, BDO as they were found absent in unauthorized manner here today.
An official spokesperson said, "During the inspection, ADDC found some officers and officials absent from duties without seeking prior permission from any authority besides non maintenance of their movement registers."
"The absentees including Zahid Aslam Mughal , DFO Batote, Dhruv Singh, Head Assistant, Forest Division Batote, Mohd Sajad, Account Assistant, Forest Division Batote, Mohd Ashraf, Executive Officer Batote, Mohd Amin Daing, ZEO Batote, Habib Choudhary, XEn, EM&RE Batote, Jagan Nath Sharma, BDO Batote, Kapil Sharma, Computer Operator and Ranjit Singh, AEE PWD (R&B) Batote," official said and further added that Range Office Batote too was found locked."
Taking serious note of this, the ADDC Ramban sought explanations from absentees within three days and directed concerned to withhold salaries of all erring employees till further order. He also passed strict directions to the officers for maintaining punctuality and movement registers in their respective offices. |
