| Migrants rue delay in distribution of relief | | | Early Times Report
Jagti, Dec 12: Delay in distribution of monthly cash assistance to the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant relief holders adds further fuel to the fire on the part of Relief Organisation (M) Jammu to their problem as authorities have failed to distribute the same on time. They depend upon the cash assistance provided by the relief authorities to KPs but the same is not being given to migrants on time alleged Ajay Bhat president. All J&K Migrant Relief Holders Association Jagti. He said people of the camp were facing lots of problems due to delayed receipt of monthly cash assistance. He further said the relief to the migrants should be given in the first week of the month. Lambasting relief authorities for delay in providing cash assistance and ration to migrants at Jagti camp, Social activists and a volunteer of AAP, Sunil Pandita said that migrants have many hardships to face in day-to-day life moreover delay in getting cash assistance makes their conditions miserable. He further added that Relief authorities should ensure timely cash assistance to migrants so that they can be able to mitigate their problems |
