Everest introduces modern building solutions for people of Kashmir | | | Majid Nabi
Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Dec 12: With over 40 distributors in Kashmir valley alone, 'Everest' the construction 'giant' in India today launched pioneering building solutions which include 'Fiber Wood Planks' to meet the building requirements keeping in view the ecological status of the region. "In modern times when there is a growing need for conserving forests and strike the balance between human needs and nature, the practice of using real wood for construction needs to be diminished. Rakesh said that the wooden planks which actually are made of cement gives real feel of wood and are affordable in terms of cost to common masses. "Everest Fiber cement wood planks have a brilliant wood like appearance and come with the strength of cement, made with state of the art technology using mix of cement and high grade fibers which are available in different sizes and finishes and even painted as per the customer's choice," he said. Rakesh said the products launched today are pre-finished and ready to install with superior attributes and land style, elegance to residential, commercial and hospitality projects while delivering value for money by being less expensive than wood. Elaborating, he said the products are light in weight, highly durable and eco-friendly apart from giving stunning looks to steel buildings. "They complement the all-weather proof earthquake resistant, moisture, termite and fire resistant properties." Rakesh said that Everest is currently executing several projects in Jammu & Kashmir which includes the University of Kashmir, Central University Ganderbal, construction of Law block of University of Kashmir and construction of Auditorium cum Library at University of Kashmir Gulmarg campus. He said that products like Everest Fiber cement Boards are being widely used by the people of Kashmir for their construction needs. "Kashmir is witnessing a potential growth in the development of modern infrastructure leading to spurt in construction activities in the year to come; this would bring in new growth opportunities for all of us.
