srinagar, Dec 12: After banning private tuitions by Government teachers, the Education Minister has launched super-50 winter tutorial.
The desirous students are required to fill in form and provide heating charges in lieu of free study material.
The Education Minister's ban on private tuition has evoked severe criticism. According to them, the Government teachers sit idle during the winter months. If they teach the students for a consideration, what is wrong with it.
The Education Minister's super-50 tutorials cannot suffice all the students, they said.
According to them, the money earmarked for this futile exercise must be spent on upgrading the infrastructure in Government schools in far flung areas.
The Education Minister, they said, must consult the experts before taking such decisions. |
