JAMMU, Dec 12 : Popular Model High School, Nanak Nagar, Jammu, today celebrated its 28th annual day. Speaker of State Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta was the chief guest of the day. Vikram Randhawa, a senior BJP leader and Kamal Gupta, president of Private School Association were the guest of honour. Students on this occasion presented various colorful items - songs, dances, bhangra, skit, etc. before the distinguish guests. The items were a blend of different traditions. Students who excelled in academics and other curricular activities were awarded by the distinguished guests. Speaking on the occasion, Kavinder Gupta appreciated the students for their efforts they have shown during the performances. He also promised to help the institution in granting scholarship to the deserving students. |
