IMS students visit Cadila Pharmaceuticals, Samba 12/12/2015 10:49:17 PM Early Times Report Samba, Dec 12 : The Training and Placement Cell of IMS organized Industrial visit of its BBA final year students. Students visited the manufacturing unit of Cadila Pharmaceuticals in Samba Industrial area. Students were received by Ranbir Singh (Assistant Manager), Cadila. After that the students attended the session chaired by Brig. KS Chouhan DGM(HR), Cadila Jammu. He provided an overview to the students about pharma industry and Cadila's position in the market along with the various sectors in which cedilla is operating. He provided insight into the present trends and challenges in pharma sector. During his presentation, he also stressed upon the three basic principles of Cadila group i.e Research, People and Growth. After the session, the students were provided tour of the various sections of the unit. The students were provided practical knowledge about the working of supervisory control and acquisition system, Filling section and boiling department. Students were also provided about supply chain management system, receiving raw material, Techniques for storing raw material and various methods of packaging used by the Cadila. The students were also provided inputs about ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) of the unit and informed that the plant utilizes recycled water. S.
