Jammu, Dec 12 : Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress today held a strong protest demonstration against Modi led NDA Government at Shaheedi Chowk for its attitude to suppress the voice of opposition on various issues. According to press release, protest was led by Dr. Uma Shankar Pandey- Secretary IYC Incharge J&K and Pranav Shagotra, President PYC. Hundreds of activist of youth Congress assembled at Shaheedi Chowk and burnt the effigy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi amidits chanting slogans " Narendra Modi Hai Hai", "BJP Hai Hai". While addressing the protester Uma Shankar Panday said that Modi led NDA Government at the Centre was trying to suppress the voice of Congress party and its leaders. He said that the Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Vice President Rahul Gandhi are raising the issues of farmers and poor sections of the pluralistic society of the nation, besides raising the corruption cases of three BJP ruled states like Vyapam case of Madhaya Pradesh and the corruption case against the Chief Minister of Rajasthan and her son worth millions of crores and the inaction of Prime Minister Narendraa Modi against these Chief Ministers. To hide their misdeeds BJP ministers and its leadership at the centre are trying to suppress the voice of Congress in order to provide shelter to the corrupt BJP Chief Ministers. Satish Sharma, Rajveer Singh, Paramjit Singh, Balbir Singh, Rajan Sharma , Chetan Wanchoo Sandeep Singh, Vinay Sharma, Charanjeet Singh, Rashid Malik, Ricky Dalotra, Hoshiyar Singh Chib, Pankaj Sharma , Arun Singh, Sachin Gupta, Jagjot Singh, Anoop Gupta and Rajiv Gupta were also participated the protest. |
