JAMMU, Dec 12 : As many as 550 rural children received scholarships amounting to over Rs 4.32 lakh from Harbans Bhalla Educational Trust (HBET) during the nine-day long camp which concluded today. 90% of the students are girls and 85% are from rural area schools from Arnia, Birpur, Kangrail, Chadwal, Chakrohi, Dansal, Doomi, Gajansoo, Gura Slathia, Hira Nagar, Jourian, Jerda, Kana Chak, R.S. Pura, Rattian, Rahein, Samba, Saruinsar, Satrayan. Anil Bhalla, Director Nitco Logistics Pvt. Ltd was the Chief Guest, while Sathi Nanda, Salil Bhalla, Sudhir Nanda and Rajan Nanda all Nitco Directors were the guests of honour on the occasion . Nitco has adopted several students and giving financial support to the Trust since many years. The guests were briefed about the scholarship, mentorship and medical support programmes run by the Trust for all round support of the children. The Chief Guest told the students about the benefits of education and advised them to make full use of scholarship and support of the Trust. |
