Jammu, Dec 12 : Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged 80th Musical Play Ladli in collaboration with Unison Cultural Troupe, Sangam Tru Art Production and ESRM. The programe was inaugurated by the chief guest VK Magotra, former regional director, directorate of field publicity, Government of India, Dr.Anju Dogra, Health Department, J&K Government, Vinod Dogra, Chief Service Engineer Excide and Romesh Chander, event director were the guest of honors. Speaking on the occasion chief guest lauded the role of BLSKS and underlined the importance of staging such plays in all parts of the state to generate awareness among the masses about various social evils through theatre which are still very powerful medium of communication. He highlighted the "Laadli Scheme" Government of India said aim of Ladli Scheme is that to alter the position of the girl kid in family. It also aim to help modify the people's mindsets for appropriate taking care of the girl kid and as well as to offer the girl child their birth rights as started in Indian constitutions. Daughters are taking care extremely deprived in current society in contrast to boys in the society. The behavior a girl child takes from the family members is extremely pitiable. The play was written, produced and directed by M L Dogra reflects the agony of two conservative families who are bent upon getting their daughter and son married at tender age, ignoring advise of intellectuals of the society. |
