Jammu, Dec 13: S. S. Anand Lehar, a prominent Urdu writer and Sr. Advocate, translated and compiled the Constitution of J&K in Urdu language which is the real official language of the State. The Book is being published by J&K Law House with messages of Justice M. Y. Mir, Justice M. H. Attar, Dr. Shohab Inayat Malik, HoD, Urdu Deptt. Jammu University, Mushtaqe Sadaf, Programme Officer, Sahitya Academy, New Delhi.
Lehar has written 13 books in Urdu and has been awarded by different Music & Literary Organisations and Academies of the country. A student of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar,he did his Ph.D. on his literary work titled 'Anand Lehar Fun-O-Sakshiyat'. Three students of Jammu University and one student of Choudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut have done M.Phil on his literary works. One student each of Delhi University, Indore University and Hyderabad University are doing M.Phil. on his literary work. He has written and produced number of serials for Doordarshan Kendra, Jammu and two serials for Kashir Channel of DD-1, i.e. 'Agli Eid Se Pehle' and 'Taqseem'. His writings have been translated into English, Hindi, Punjabi, Dogri and Kashmiri.
He has started a Project of preparing Casettes on Dil Ki Gita, ie. Gita written by Khawaza Dil Mohd. and first Audio cassette has been released and Video cassette is being released. Advocate Dogra Harish Kaila, President, Nami Dogri Sanstha and his entire team in a meeting appreciated and congratulated S. S. Anand Lehar who is also Patron of Nami Dogri Sanstha for trasnslating and compiling the Constitution of J&K in Urdu Language which will be of immense use for the people of the country in general and the State in particular. |
