SAMBA, Dec 13 : Young Adil Ashraf Khan from Jammu District emerged 'Champion of Champion' while the overall championship trophy in team bagged by Jammu district in the 14th State (Inclined and Bench Press) Championship concluded at Vijaypur, here today. In the closing function, Sub Division Magistrate (SDM) Vijaypur, Rajneesh Gupta was chief guest, who gave away the title trophies as also other individual prizes. Speaking on the occasion, chief guest appreciated the efforts put in by the Strength Lifting Association headed by Vicky Mahajan and other members of the team in providing the young men of Samba a platform to excel.
Meanwhile, president of the Association, Vicky Mahajan informed that J&K shall be hosting National Strength Lifting Championship at holy town of Katra next year.
