JAMMU, Dec 13 : Gole Gujral Club won the inaugural match of the IIIrd Sant Gurbaksh Singh Dana Hockey Tournament, organised by Sant Gurbaksh Singh Dana Charitable Trust in collaboration with Hockey Jammu and Kashmir, at K K Hakhu Stadium, here today. The Gole Gujral Club dominated the game throughout beating Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Club 6-2. Earlier, the competition was declared open by Chairman J&K Gurdwara Prabandak Board, Tarlochan Singh Wazir, who was chief guest. Man Mohan Singh Toor was guest of honour. Prominent among others present were secretary of Hockey J&K, GS Bakshi, Balvinder Singh, Kulwant Singh, Gurmeet Singh, Amrik Singh Sasan, Beant Singh, Janak Singh, Maj Annuj Raina of 20 Punjab, Ravinder Singh and Gurdayal Singh. In all, 16 teams, including those from outside the state, are taking part in this nine-day league-cum- knockout event under the supervision of Sant Tajwant Singh of Dara Sant Pura Dana, Guru Nanak Nagar, here.
