Plus 2 Lecturer’s Forum organizes monthly meeting

Jammu, Dec 13 : The Udhampur unit of All J& K Plus 2 Lecturers' Forum organised monthly meeting at Udhampur under the chairmanship of Ashok Sharma,District President today on December13,2015.
In the meeting, the speakers appreciated that while the Education Minister is taking keen interest and launching noble initiatives for rejuvenating the System of Education in the State, transfers of some lecturers have been ordered at a time when the academic session is at its peak.
They said that despite the Education Minister's categorical statement that transfers will be affected in June-July in Jammu Division and in January-February in Kashmir Division the recent transfers on the basis of pick and choose policy of some have been ordered thus affecting the studies of the students.
The participants also demanded that the JKBOSE should take measures such as installation of CCTVs in the Exam halls,deployment of more Vigilance Squads, Provision og good examination halls,etc to check the menace of copying.
They also demanded foolproof security of the Supervisory staff to avoid incidents as happened in Panchari and Vijaypur. They also demanded enhancement of the grade pay of Principals, declaration of their post as non vacational , removal of pay anomaly of lecturers in Physical Education,the benefit of Running Pattern in favour of +2cadre, regularisation of all Jt.Directors, Chief Education Officers, Principals and lecturers serving in the Incharge capacity in the School Education Department etc for years together and demanded that orders in this respect be issued at the earliest. Prominent among others who addressed the meeting included Arunesh Kumar, Ashwani Kumar, Rajinder Gupta, Mangat Ram, Pawan Kumar,Shivdev Singh, Dev Raj,Kuldip Singh, Luxmi Kant, Ravi Kanchan, Amrit Lal, Bishan Sharma, Ravinder Kumar, Veerinder Kumar, Rakesh Gupta, Bhim Sein, Karnail Singh, Rajinder Kumar.
