Unscheduled power cuts irk Mendhar people 12/13/2015 11:36:21 PM Early Times Report MENDHAR , Dec 13 : Residents of Mendhar tehsil in Poonch district are facing unscheduled and prolonged power cuts bringing misery particularly to students whose exams are going on these days. The locals accused the Power Development Department of failing to ensure proper supply of electricity despite repeated requests. Unscheduled power curtailment is affecting our business badly and curtailment has reached even up to six to seven hours a day. said Mendhar youth Club Gen sect Javid Iqbal . They said that officials of Power Development Department are making excuses of power overload but are washing their hands from their task to decrease the power load by keeping check over power theft. A student of 10th class samera said that his exams are going on but excessive power curtailment is taking toll over his studies.
