| JAMMU, Dec 28 : Distt Jammu Boxing championship held under the supervision of Anil Wadhera, Senior State Boxing Coach and inaugrated by Dr. Nirmolak Singh, General Secretary, J & K Boxing Association, concluded today at Jammu. S. Rangil Singh, President Jammu and Kashmir Olympic Association and former vice- President, Indian Olympic Association was the chief Guest and gave medals as well as certificates to the winners. Ashutosh Sharma, chairman Affiliation committee, Indian Olympic association and Gen- Secretary J&K Olympic Association was the guest of honour. About 70 boxers participated in the championship out of which 34 qualified for the State championship to be held later. Boxers from Jammu, Srinagar, Leh, Kargil, Kathua, Poonchh and Udhampur who have qualified in their respective districts will be taking part in the State Championship. |
