JK takes Modi's Mobile Application talk with a pinch of salt | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 28: Prime Minister, Narender Modi's announcement about his latest Mobile Application to connect with the people evoked mixed response from various quarters. The Congress spokesman Tom Vaddakan passed sarcastic comments over Prime Minister's Mobile application saying it will connect him with the problems of the farmer, poor, minorities and dalits in the country as he is busy all the time travelling across the world. "We are happy that he has announced an app in which he has said you can send your grievances directly to him. He is a very busy person. The PM has to travel. His connect was excellent when he was not the Prime Minister. He used to talk to people and communicate. In Jammu Kashmir, the Prime Minister's announcement has been taken with a pinch of salt for genuine reasons. Haji Yusuf, a National Conference worker died in Crime Branch custody after the former Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah handed him over to the CB sleuths. It was later learnt that Yusuf was allegedly tortured in the Chief Minister's Gupkar residence before his handover to the Crime Branch. Prime Minister Modi visited Kashmir several times. A day before one such visit, Haji Yusuf's son addressed a press conference seeking CBI investigation into his father's mysterious death. The Prime Minister who intends to connect with the people through his latest Mobile application, simply ignored his request and nothing moved. The aggrieved son is still awaiting justice even as the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah was exonerated by a probe. |
