Police Martyr Memorial T-20 Cricket Championship held 12/28/2015 10:20:50 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Dec 28 : First and Second quarter final match of 6th Police Martyr Memorial North Zone Inter Club T-20 Cricket Championship was played at Sports Stadium Kathua . Ist quarter final was between Akshay Star Kohli Cricket Club Kathua and Parade Sports Association Jammu and 2nd quarter final was played between Shabnam Cricket Club Hoshiarpur and Sandhu Cricket Club Ludhiana. In the Ist quarter final Akshay Star Kohli Cricket Club Kathua won the toss and choose for fielding .Playing first Parade Sports Association Jammu set a target of 72 runs by losing all wickets in 16.3 Overs. Sandeep singh scored 26 runs in 37 balls was the top scorer. Gourav of Akshay Star Kohli Cricket Club Kathua took 04 wickets by giving only 17 runs in 04 overs. Akshay Star Kohli Cricket Club Kathua easily chased the target and won the match by 4 wickets. Manvinder Bisla of Akshay Star Kohli Cricket Club Kathua who scored 43 in 52 balls was declared man of the match with cash prize of Rs. 2500/- and a trophy. In the 2nd quarter final, Shabnam Cricket Club Hoshiarpur won the toss and choose to bat first and set a target of 144 runs by losing 08 wickets in 20 Overs. Daman scored 39 runs in 36 balls with 04 boundaries and Rahuil scored 32 runs in 19 balls with 05 boundaries were the top scorers . Monty of Sandhu cricket club Ludhiana took 02 wickets by giving only 13 runs in 04 overs. Sandhu cricket club Ludhiana chased the target in 18.4 over by losing 06 wickets .Ishan malhotra scored 33 runs in just 23 balls with the help of 04 boundaries and Bhupinder also contributed 33 runs in 26 balls with the help of 03 boundrie.
