Jammu, Jan 3: Undermining the security cover, miscreants in Jammu enjoy late night hours at Tawi Bridge, which is gradually turning into a safe haven for them, as no police official and administration is visible around the area. According to reports, a group of miscreants have been seen making nuisance on the bridge in the late night hours by parking their vehicles amid road, thus causing inconvenience to the commuters.
"A group of seven to eight people park their vehicles on the bridge and create nuisance. When they are asked to make way, they hurl abuses," said eye witnesses. If eye witnesses are to be believed, miscreants park their four wheelers and motorcycles on Tawi Bridge and 'take liquor.' "The miscreants park their vehicles on the bride and openly consume liquor, while there is no enforcement agency to stop them," said eye witnesses, adding the commuters are put in great inconvenience. "The miscreants hurl obscene remarks to the passersby", said a passerby adding that the miscreants even does not h0esitate to passersby. Surprisingly, on the one end of the tube of the Bridge there is a police naka but all the policemen turn a blind eye to them and thus encourage them. In addition to creating nuisance in the public places, these miscreants also cause accidents. |
