Jammu, Jan 3: Police today booked ten persons for allegedly assaulting a person over a land dispute in Bathindi area.
Police said that Hussain Mohammad of Bathindi owns a piece of land at Barmini and had pending dispute with a family over the same piece of land.
Today when both the parties reached the land a scuffle was broke out between them.
Police said that Hussain Mohammad complained the police that he was attacked by ten persons who were booked. They have been identified as Ghulam Kadir, Ghulam Hussain, Mohd Saleem , Allarakha, Liyaqat Ali, Rano, Hanif, Shabir Ali, Irshad Ali, Ali Akbar all residents of Bathindi.
Police said that further investigation in this regard is going on. |
