JAC organizes general body meet 1/3/2016 10:44:48 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 3: A general body meeting of Joint Action Committee was held today under chairmanship of Vinod Gupta , President Central Mahajan Sabha. The meeting was convened by Ved Prakash Sharma convenor. Narayan Singh, President Rajput sabha also participated in meeting besides employees and other delegates from civil society. Meeting was held to take stock of ongoing movement regarding abolition of Reservation in Promotions and to chalk out further strategy in this regard. After thorough discussions among Sabha heads and other delegates it was unanimously decided to impress upon the Government for prompt filing of reply in Supreme court on the subject issue as the time of 4 weeks is going to lapse on12th Jan. Further it was decided that a seminar/ Convention will be organised by Joint Action Committee General category on 10 th January at Jammu to spread awareness among general category masses about their right to equality on the issue of " No Reservation in Promotions ".The eminent personalities of state which includes Retired Judges, Bureaucrats,educationists, Engineers,Doctors,Lawyers and other prominent personalities shall share their views and experiences on this issue during the seminar.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
