Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 3: Peaceful Hunger Strike in the premises of Government Medical College Hospital, Bakshi Nagar, educating the attendants of the patients to keep the toilets and bathrooms clean for their own betterment, strike of AAP volunteers' entered third consecutive day on Sunday. Sanjeev Sareen, Advocate, Volunteer of the Aam Aadmi Party said that AAP volunteers had submitted written memorandum to the concerned authorities putting forward the demands to cleanse the Bathroom, Toilets, and Wash basins in Hospital Premises. The authorities did not take the cognizance of issue; consequently AAP Volunteers were constrained to adopt the path of Hunger Strike. Sanjeev Sareen thanked all the doctors, staff members, public at large and attendants of the patients for rendering their co-operation during the said period and helping Aam Aadmi party volunteers. The volunteers while expressing their anguish said that Govt. is adamant towards addressing the problems of the common man, despite several representations and memorandums, Govt. seems to be under the influence of power. Sanjeev Sareen said that the volunteers passing on the final warning to administration that the Govt. shall have to change the system or the people will change the Government. While Raj Kumar and Vipul Bali continued their hunger strike for the third consecutive day, Rani Devi, Anita Gupta, Balbir Singh, D.L Radha, Harpreet singh, Vishal arya, Dalvinder Bhagat, Sanjay Rakwal, Janmeet Singh accompanied them for one to two days. |
