Udhampur, Jan 7 : To promote healthy lifestyle in remote villages the Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Bagga under the aegis of Rashtriya Rifles (RR) under Counter Insurgency Uniform Force ((CIF) Headquarters, Reasi constructed public utility facilities for students of Government Primary School, Parahaand the people of surrounding villages.
According to defence spokesperson, the construction of the Public Utility Facilities as part of Swach Bharat campaign will benefit more than 128 students including girls.
"on this occasion a special lecture by the medical officer on the importance of hygiene and sanitation was conducted on the occasion which was attended by officials from the Army, civil administration, teachers, students and parents, " army spokesperson said.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mohd Amin, Headmaster of Government Primary School, Paraha thanked the Army for its efforts towards sustained development through better sanitary habits. |
