Students' deputation meets GBSWA

Jammu, Jan 7 : A deputation of more than 30 students meet with the Gujjar Bakarwal Welfare Association, (GBSWA) State incharge Mohammad Akram Advocate for their long pending demands. According to press release, these students who have applied for the post of teacher under notification No. 417, 499 & 590 in district Cadre Reasi in which JKSSB vide order numbers SSB/SEL/Secy/014/5341-47 dated 27-06-2014 recommended the selection of 261 teachers. Whereas total no of 231 candidates reported for verification of documents.
As per the continuing the processes of selection CEO Reasi issued joining order on 05-01-2014 and simultaneously served notice to the remaining selected candidates. The notice period expired on 23 of Feb 2015, after that CEO dispatched the list of wait listed candidates to director school education Jammu on 12-06-2016 & DSEJ forwarded it for the administrative approval to civil secretariat Jammu on 01-07-2015 but more than six months have passed and the matter is pending causing unnecessary delay.
Akram appealed to the state Govt. particularly to the education department they must take the matter into their kind consideration and continue the process of selection without delaying it that must not create any trouble as well as hurdle to continuing their study. These students are suffering due to that they wait in the hope of that they might be selected for the job to secure their hands because most of the candidates belonging to the far flung area as the upper region of the district having no source of earring and few of them are the sole source of earner of their family and they are having no fault on their part but they still suffering without any reason. He assured to the deputation of the candidates for their genuine demand, that GBSWA must take it seriously and follow it properly and requested to the concerned authorities to complete it as soon as possible. The group of candidates to met to GBSWA incharge were Mustafa Ali, Riyaz Ahmed, Wasim Ashraf, Qamar Ul Islam, Shah Nawaz Ahmed, Ishfaq Ahmed etc added by Arshad Ahmed from Reasi district.
