| Police rescues kidnapped girl | | | Early Times Report
BANIHAL, Jan 7 : Ramban police rescued a kidnapped girl and arrested the accused involved in the act.
According to police reports, a girl hailing from Ramban area went missing on January 5 under mysterious circumstances. The family members of the girl reported the matter to PS Ramban and a missing complaint was lodged.
During search, it came to fore that the girl was kidnapped by Mushtaq Ahmed son of Late Atta Mohd of Gool.
After the inputs, the missing complaint was converted into a kidnapping case and manhunt was launched to trace out the girl and apprehend the accused.
Police reports said that on specific inputs, police team conducted raid in Kanga area in Ramban and rescued the girl. The accused was also arrested.
The girl was handed over to family members after conducting medical examination.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Inspector SHO PS Ramban Vinod Kundal recovered the girl and arrested the kidnapper under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Ramban Mohd Rafiq Choudhary and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar. |
