ABKM to hold one day Convention on Jan 10 1/7/2016 11:48:07 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 7 : Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha hold a day Convention on January 10, at 10:30 AM at Partap Hall, Dogra Sadar Sabha Bhawan, Jammu which will be addressed by Yuvraj Dr. Digvijay Singh, Former Union Minister, National President, Maharaja Raghubir Singh Sirohi and others. Addressing media persons, Ravi Singh Slathia, Convener ABKM said that the aim of the convention is also to highlight the problems of the Rajputs of this State who did not only help in founding the State but also in defending it by sacrificing for over 100 years till 1947 when ultimately a small Dogra Force of the State under Brig. Rajinder Singh defended all Pakistan attempts to annex the State by force, and enabled Maharaja Hari Singh to accede to the Indian Union. Today this state is part of India because of these Dogras with valiant Rajputs at the fore-front but unfortunately these very warriors are suffering for the last 60-70 years, of course, as part of discriminatory policy of the government. Giving details about the progamme of the convention, they disclosed that the programme will start with performing pooja at Raj Tilak Bhawan (Rajput Sabha), Purani Mandi, Jammu on January 10 at 9:30 AM and thereafter procession will lead to Dogra Sadar Sabha for convention. All the Rajputs of the State are welcomed to take part in the convention and listen to the views being expressed by the dignitaries participating in the convention. Later, they condoled demise of CM Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and said they were shocked to know about the sad demise of Sayeed Chief Minister of our State. They prayed to the Almighty God to rest his soul in peace and grant courage and fortitude to the bereaved family and said losing a seasoned politician of the State is a great loss to the people of whole State.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
