NCD employees sans salary since last 16months, seeks pending salary | | | Early Times Report
Doda, Jan 18: Expressing resentment over routine delay in release of their salaries, the NPHCE (National Programme for Health Care of Elderly), employees working under NCD Scheme of NHM today urged the authorities to ensure timely and regular disbursement of their salaries. In a press statement, Spokesperson All JK NHM Employees Association Jammu Division Faizan Ali Tramboo said that Government is ignoring the NHM Employees working in the State as no one of their demands have been considered so far by the Government.He said that the NPHCE Employees including Physiotherapist, Sanitary Attendants, Hospital Attendant and FMPHWs are facing great hardships as they are without salary since October 2014 and now its 16th month there salaries have not been released so far. He further added that the NCD employees are now at the verge of starvation due to non serious attitude of Govt towards them.He also said that the NCD Employees are facing immense financial problems and are living the life of penury, as despite repeated requests made to the Director Health Services Jammu and other concerned officers for releasing their salaries, nothing has been done except giving assurance.The Association threatened to launch an agitation in case their demands may not be fulfilled. Tramboo urged upon the Governor, Chief Secretary and Commissioner Secretary Health to personally look into the matter and release all the pending salaries of these employees at an earliest. |
