Srinagar, Jan 18: The Governor's administration on Monday ordered transfers and promotions of top bureaucrats.
As per the order issued by General Administration Department (GAD), Pramod Kumar Jain, on his repatriation from the central deputation, has been posted as Chairman J&K Special Tribunal, relieving Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Principal Secretary Environment and Ecology department of the additional charge.
Bharat Bhushan Vyas, on his promotion to the fixed scale, has been posted as Financial Commissioner Information, Hospitality and Protocol and Civil Aviation departments. He shall also hold the additional charge of the Administrative Secretary for the Estates department.
Nirmal Sharma, who was awaiting orders of adjustment, was posted as Secretary Labour and Employment department, relieving Shailendra Kumar, Commissioner Secretary Industries and Commerce department of the additional charge.
The government also promoted Shantmanu to the higher administrative grade and designated him as the Chief Electoral Officer, J&K-cum-Principal Secretary to the Election department.
Besides, Vineeta Gupta and Shahid Anayatullah were promoted to the super time scale of IAS while Ajeet Kumar Sahu was promoted to the selection grade of IAS with effect from January 1, 2016.
Ravinder Kumar, Piyush Singla, Syed Abid Rashid Shah and Mohammad Aijaz were promoted to the senior time scale of IAS with their promotion to take effect from January 1, 2016. |
