| CPPWU highlights funds misappropriation in RDD block | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Jan 18: A meeting of Chinar Power Projects Workers Union District Kishtwar was held under the Chairmanship of Joginder Bhandari .In the meeting large scale bungling committed by the VLW's , JE's RDD block Kishtwar was discussed at length.
While speaking on the ocassion Joginder Bhandari said that the VLW's and JE's with the collaboration of Sarpanches of concerned Panchyats of RDD block Kishtwar have committed fraud of crores of rupees under MGNERGA scheme as a result of which huge loss has caused to the state exchequer and added further that the officials and officers of RDD block Kishtwar have prepared fake job cards and payments stands drawn on account of material and skilled labourers and the cement meant for various works under MGNERGA have been sold on black rates in the market .Bhandari also said that the department has also made invoice on the name of skilled labourers who happens to be the known persons of the VLW's and thereafter payments stands drawn fraudulently under MGNERGA.
He said that the VLW's ,JE's and GRS have made their property worth crores of rupees by way of illegal means which needs to be probed through State Vigilance Organisation as the officials and officers have looted the state exchequer and made their property worth crores of rupees both at Kishtwar and Jammu. |
