Ration Dealers holds protest 1/18/2016 10:50:27 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Jan 18: To mark protest against the hardships faced by Ration Dealers, Dharna protest was organized in the premises of Director CAPD office, Toph under the Chairmanship Prabhu Dayal Sharma, President of fair price Shop Association Jammu. On the occasion various problems were discussed particularly the delay in ration supply to the consumers. The department was not provided the ration to the dealers for the month of December-2015 and almost 13000 Qtls of wheat Flour, 4000 Qtls of rice and of 500 Qtls of sugar was not delivered to the concerned ration dealers. On the other hand Govt Sale depots are getting regular ration for the month of December 2015 and January 2016 which create lot of problems to the private dealers. On the occasion it was unanimously decided that if the supplies to the dealers would not be restored they would not deposit their money for ration from next month.
