Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 18: To draw the attention of Governor N N Vohra, the unemployed Kashmiri Migrant youth held indefinite protest at Raj Bhawan here today.
While highlighting the demands protesters appealed to Governor to intervene into the matter for immediate filling up of the remaining 4,000 posts out of sanctioned 6,000 jobs under PMs Special employment package for Kashmiri Migrants including selection of pending teachers and 221 writ petitioners.
"The Division Bench of Jammu and Kashmir has given directions of the respondents (Govt.) to accommodate the appellants within two months but the Court order is still pending for its implementation due to negligence and bias approach of State Government towards KP Community," Bhat alleged. Bhat further said that government has failed to implement the High Court judgment within stipulated time bound period of two months. He said that these 221 candidates were deserving and it is last chance for them to get govt jobs as they are at the verge of getting over aged.
