| Jammu, Jan 18: Bishnah Munsiff Archana Charak today rejected the bail application of two brothers -- Mohan Lal and Surinder Kumar -- who were booked by police in a fake PRC case. According to police, the duo had filed an application for the issuance of caste certificates of their children in the office of tehsildar, Bishnah. After going through the records, it was found that PRCs were fake and even the signatures of ADC, Jammu, were fake. On this, police registered a case against them. The munsiff, after hearing the two sides, observed that since the senior PO had opposed the bail on various grounds and also said that the investigation was at preliminary stage, the accused deserved no bail. With these observations, the court rejected their bail. --(JNF) |
