Drug peddler arrested with 700 grams charas 1/19/2016 12:17:04 AM RAMBAN, Jan 18 : Police party of Police Station Banihal arrested a man with three packets of Charas weighing about 650/700 grams have been recovered from the possession. A team laid a naka at National Highway main Bazar Banihal and intercepted one Tata Indigo car bearing registration no. JK14B- 8254 and driven by one Pawan Kumar son of Gulshan Ram resident of Karua tehsil and district Reasi which was on way from Valley to Jammu. Police party signaled the vehicle to stop for checking. During the search of said vehicle, three packets of Charas weighing about 650/700 grams have been recovered from the possession of said driver. Accordingly, the driver has been arrested and booked under FIR No. 07/2016 u/s 8/20 NDPS Act at police station Banihal. The arrest has been made by inspector Nazir Ahmed, Station House Officer (SHO) Ramban under the supervision of Sub Division Police Officer (SDPO) Banihal Mohammad Rafiq, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramban Randeep Kumar.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
