Cross LoC Bus service delayed for half an hour due to youths' protest | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Jan 18 : The unemployed youths seeking permission for the cross LoC trade today staged a protest against district administration by blocking cross LoC Bus service for over half an hour. As per reports, protestors led by Sanjeev Sharma, Nishu Sharma, Imtiaz Salaria and others amid slogans against Custodian LoC Trade and DDC Poonch alleged that they were being ignored by the district administration. Protestors alleged that some influential traders want to hold monopoly and thus don't want others to be part of the cross LoC trade. According to protestors on one hand government is not advertising jobs and when they are ready to opt other way then administration is blocking their future prospects by having hand in glove with few influential traders. One of the protestors, Sanjeev Sharma said, "Few vested interest traders want to control the whole trade but we are not going to let this happen." Another youth Nishal Sharma said, "We give three days ultimatum to administration to register all firms otherwise we will be forced to launch massive protest against administration. Meanwhile SHO Police Station Poonch Jitender Raina and civil administration officers rushed to the spot pacified the protestors by assuring that their concern would be addressed to the administration. |
