Accused escapes from police custody 1/19/2016 12:17:59 AM Jammu , Jan 18 : An accused arrested under NDPS Act a couple of week ago by Rajouri police managed his escape from police lock up here today. Police have launche massive manhunt to nab the absconding accused. Police sources have identified the fugitive accused as Manjoor Hussain s/o Noor Hussain r/o Dhanore. "The accused has been arrested with the contraband and later was booked in case FIR no 31/2016 under NDPS Act in Rajouri Police Station, sources said. They said, "Taking the advantage of the slackness on the part of police, the accused managed to escape from police custody at Police Station Rajouri. Meanwhile, a senior police officer who preferred anonymity said that a case is being registered against police officials on duty. He also added that a fresh FIR has also been registered against accused Manzoor Hussain.
