Jammu, Jan 18 : Indian Bank organized a plantation drive was held at Indian Bank, Gandhi Nagar Jammu branch. The chief guest of this program was senior leader Indu Bhushan Sharma. The programme began with the plantation drive and staff members of the bank planted the sapling of different varieties of trees. During the drive more than 20 saplings were planted by the staff members. Addressing the gathering, Indu Bhushan Sharma said, "To minimize the increasing effects of global warming, the best and easy way is to grow more and more plants. In this regard there is need for more awareness and plantation drives to spread the message of its importance for the survival of humankind''. Among others participated in the drive were branch manager Jugal Kishore, Assistant Manager Manish Kumar, Cashier Pawandeep Kour, Officer Balbir Kumar Verma, Officer Manpreet Singh, Lal Singh, Neeraj Kumar and customers of Gandhi Nagar branch. |
