J&K Grameen Bank organizes Financial Literacy Awareness Programme 1/19/2016 12:19:49 AM Early Times Report Samba , Jan 18 : J&K Grameen Bank under the Chairmanship of RK Chhibber in collaboration with NABARD organized a Financial Literacy Awareness Programme on SHGs/JLGs/MUDRA and different social security schemes of Govt. of India at Village Randhwal in District Samba. During the programme a SHG Bank Linkage project for formation and credit linkage of 150 SHGs was launched through Jammu Women Coooperative Credit Society. Chairman J&K Grameen Bank, R K Chhibber, who was the chief guest on the occasion, spoke at length about various bank schemes. He apprised that J&K Grameen Bank has formulated a special area based scheme for development of dairy sector wherein the beneficiaries can avail hassle free credit at lower rates. Further, he informed that J&K Grameen bank has slashed the lending interest rates which are lowest in the market. He emphasized the participants to come forward and avail benefits under various schemes of the bank. S,S.Bhatoa, DGM NABARD and also the Board of Director of J&K Grameen Bank was the Guest of Honour on the occasion.
