67th Republic day celebrated by educational institutes, ors | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 27: Like other parts of the country 67th Republic Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and patriotic fervor by educational institutes and social organizations across Jammu region. To celebrated 67th Nat Manch Presents Hindi Play Sangharsh as the part of its ongoing Tuesday Series at Saheed Bhagat Amar Nath Samarak Park, Shalamar Road, Jammu. Dogra Higher Secondary School Shastri Nagar, Jammu celebrated the Republic Day with great patriotic fervor and gaiety. Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Managing Director, DHSS was the Chief Guest, besides, hoisting Tricolor various cultural items were presented by the student on the occasion. Pine Wood School, Sabra Mendhar celebrated republic day, in a glittering ceremony, the Tri Colour was unfurled by Commander, BG Bde and the national anthem was played which was followed by march past, cultural events by school students and powerful performance of Gatka (Martial Arts) by the Mendhar Bn which were highly appreciated by the people. Government High School Kalu Chak, Jammu celebrated Republic Day, wherein besides large number of gathering, Sarpanches, Panches, and other prominent citizens of the area participated. On the occasion, a colourful cultural programme was presented by the students of various schools with great patriotic fervor and gaiety. CRPF Headquarters, Yogashram, Katra, based town for pilgrims to the Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, celebrated republic day. Sunil Kumar, Commandant 6 Bn, CRPF hoisted the national flag with the tunes of national anthem and took salute at the Battalion Quarter Guard. During this programme students from Disha Hostel were also present. Speaking on the occasion, the Commandant greeted the officers and troops on this joyous occasion. Bharatiya Vidya Mandir (BVM) High School Ramban celebrated republic day with national fervour, patriotic zeal and enthusiasm. Deputy Chief Education Officer (Dy CEO) Ramban, Bal Ji Thaploo was the chief guest who unfurled the National flag in the school premises and Zonal Education Officer Ramban Zubaida Parveen. Socio welfare International Society (SWIS) and Kashyap Educational Economical and Charitable Society organized a function in Bernai Jammu to celebrate republic day. National flag hosted in the presence of prominent members of the area while some senior citizen threw light on relevance of the day. Naveen Shiksha Kendra High School run by SAWERA NGO celebrated the Republic Day in the School premises. President of SAWERA YP Khajuria unfurled the National Flag. The management of SAWERA NGO including SK Dogra, Ram Gopal Sharma and BS Salathia were present on the occasion. A colorful cultural programme was also presented by the students of the school. St. Mary's Infant Pre School organized patriotic song and dance competition to celebrate the republic day. While some of the tiny tots won hearts with their winsome dance moves others touched souls with their melodious singing in this event which was a consummation of talent, enthusiasm and patriotism. CUJ celebrates 67th Republic Day, On the occasion of 67th Republic Day, Prof. Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Jammu unfurls the National flag at the Administrative Block at Baghala, Samba and Temporary Academic Block (TAB), Sainik Colony, Jammu. The Vice-Chancellor addressed the Academic fraternity, non-teaching member and students of the University. Republic Day was celebrated with full enthusiasm and fervor at Government Girls High School Kachi Chawni, Jammu. Pinewood School Hamirpur Balakote, BG Brigade celebrated 67th Republic Day at Pinewood School Hamirpur and all other schools of the border villages close to the LC. Miss Zenab, a Class 9 student, who lost her father to the Pakistan Mortar Attack on August 15 proudly, led the students to sing Indian National Anthem showing strength and will power to move ahead and excel in life. Army Public School, Rajouri celebrates R Day with religious and an enthralling cultural programme. Maj Gen DA Chaturvedi, SM, GOC, Ace of Spades Division and Patron of the school was the chief guest on the occasion. The chief guest on arrival hoisted the National Flag alongwith release of colourfull balloons to mark the commencement of the function. Government Middle School Chullana celebrated 67th Republic day with Great enthusiasm and Joy. On the occasion, Sarpanch Mohan Singh and Ex. PET Baldev Singh hoisted the National Flag. To celebrate the 67thRepublic Day Model Academy the Prestigious School of MIER held an interactive session for classes 9th and 10th. A display board competition was also organized in both the branches of the school. The 67th Republic Day was celebrated with great fervour and charm by the Rashtriya Rifles Battalions under the aegis of Counter Insurgency Uniform Force Headquarters, Reasi. Garden Avenue Welfare Society, celebrated 26th January Republic day with fervour and zeal in DBN School premises. On this occassion, MLA West & BJP state President, Sat Sharma hoisted tri colour and felicitates the people on the occassion. Dr Renu Nanda, H.O.D. (Education) Jammu University, in her welcome address, congratulating the people of Republic day and highlights the achievements of the society. She also highlighting the problems of the people of the area on the occassion. Large gathering witnessed the function. Cybernitics Higher Secondary School Bandurakh also celebrated 67th Republic Day with zeal and enthusiasm. The students of the school presented a cultural programme in the school premises and the tricolour was unfurled by the management of the school. In his address the chairman of the school Gurdeep Singh said that this is a pride moment for us to celebrate the Republic day as India is the largest democracy in the world. Later refreshment was distributed among the students and the staff of the school. Maintaining its credibility and successive nature, Jamia Zia Ul Uloom High School Poonch bagged third prize in March past on the eve of republic day here in Poonch. Government Middle School, Trilokpur celebrated Republic Day in the school premises. Sarpanch Raj Kumar Sharma was the guest of honour hoisted the tricolor. On the occasion of 67th Republic Day, flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri in front of VC Secretariat. The ceremony was attended by Deans, Officers and other staff of the University. In his message, Prof Javed Musarrat Vice Chancellor BGSBU recalled the patriotic history of the Country and called upon the youth to follow the ideals established by the Nationalists. Carmel Convent High School Kunjwani, celebrated the Republic Day with great enthuasism in school premises were large number of students participated and presented cultural programme which was appreciated by one and all. The principal of the school in her address stressed the need on girl education and congratulated the gathering on the eve of Republic day. 67TH Republic Day celebrated at Sunrise Public School Channi Himmat Jammu. The event was organized in the school premises with all Students,Teachers as well as members of the National Social Group being present. The function began with the unfurling of the national flag by Dr. Lovi Padha, Professor of orthopedics with the school band playing the national anthem. Rajwal Ex-Corporator and General Secretary of the trust were the chief guest of the said event who unfurled the national flag. 67th Republic Day was celebrated Government High School, Bhaga, Reasi. The Head Master of the School, Mohammad Rafiq hoisted the National Flag in which Dr. Surinder Singh Retd. ZEO and Munshi Ram Sarpanch of Panchayat Bhaga was the guest of honor on the occasion. With great joy, love and respect for the country Delhi Public School, Jammu celebrated the Republic Day in its premises yesterday. The Principal, Ruchi Chabra, unfurled the National Flag which was followed by the National Anthem and Principal's address. Many cultural programmes were presented by the students and teachers on the occasion. The choir group presented National song 'Vande Matram' which was followed by speeches by students highlighting the importance of the day. Bhagat, Dean Faculty of Agriculture, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu(SKUAST-Jammu) unfurled the national flag at Main Campus Chatha for republic day celebration. While addressing the gathering, Dr Bhagat list the achievements of only farm and professional University of the region, which is running in its infancy stage. Besides, all the Statutory Officers, HODs, Faculty members of varsity, the function was also attended by Dr. T.A. Ganai (Director Education). Calvary Mission High School Samba and Chambyal Model School Nud also celebrated Republic day celebration. Children of different classes take part in Anticipation and Perform different Act like Fancy Dress Competition different dance were presented by children Motivational acts were also performed and a message was also given by chairman on the importance of republic day. 67th Republic Day celebrated with patriotic flavor at the Pathways International School Kathua.
