Poonch: No orders yet for removal of encroachment on Govt land 1/28/2016 12:00:11 AM MS Nazki POONCH, Jan 27: There has been no development in removing the structures that some people have raised on government land in Mendhar. Sources said that some families having ties with National Conference have illegally raised six structures on the government land under Khasra No. 689 which is proposed for sports stadium in Mendhar. Though Early Times has been carrying stories on the issue, the administration is silent. Tehsildar Mendhar, Salam Din Chowdhary has failed to take the cognizance of the matter, said a local who wished not to be named. The matter would have been solved had administration been sincere, said another elderly person of the area.
