SEECC- Dictatorial Attitude of Education Authorities Unacceptable

Kathua, Jan 27,A meeting of school education employees coordination committee, incharge school education officers /Lecturers forum was held the other day under the chairmanship of Amar Nath thakur provincial president Jammu to discuss the burning issues confronting the teaching community in the state particularly the dictatorial orders/circulars issued by higher education authorities and director school education Kashmir to defame, insult ,harass and dishonour the teaching fraternity on the name screening test of ReTs/RReTs, Rational Transfers in the state.
Speakers criticized DSE Kashmir for using un parliamentary language against JKTF leaders and questioning their union. The participants described this against the union's constitutional right to protest. All the leaders fully supported the protest of SEECC in the office of Director Kashmir on 30-01-2016 led by Abdul Qayoom Wani Chairman JKTF/SEECC and president EJAC.
Speaking on the occasion Thakur requested the teaching fraternity to oppose all unconstitutional circulars, orders and directions issued by the education authorities to humiliate and discourage the education officers, Lecturers, Masters and ReTs on the name of transfers and degrees acquired through distance mode by employees. He said that international and national reputed universities recognized by UGC and DEC are unquestionable and J and K school education department has no authority to question and challenge the validity of degrees issued by the distance mode universities. He further added that SRO No.252-HE of 2012 dated 30-05-2012 has authorized the students and employees to seek and improve their qualifications through distance mode. He further said that lakhs of students of J and K are studying in the different distance mode universities in the country.
The participants also supported the protest of RETs at Jammu scheduled on 30-01-2016 for conducting the screening test of ReTs/RReTs. The recommendations of CSC to appoint eight joint directors from KAS cadre in the school education department was also criticized by the participants. They said that undermining the capability of intellectual and dedicated education officers of education department is a humiliating step which will be opposed tooth and nails by all education officers/ Lecturers forum lead by A.Q wani.
