Jammu, Jan 27: Channi Himmat Police today arrested two brothers for assaulting a Wave Mall employee with a sharp edged weapon. Police identified the assailants as Anil and Sahil, both sons of Krishan Kumar of Block Headquarters 16 B, Channi Himmat.
As per police sources, this afternoon, Channi Himmat Police received a written complaint from the security officer of Wave Mall, stating therein that CCTV operator Gaurav Sharma had been assaulted by some persons.
In the complaint, it was stated that three unknown persons tried to enter the mall along with a sharp edged weapon (kirich) and were asked to go through body-scanners for routine checking but they refused and attacked Gaurav Sharma, injuring him.
Police arrested two of the assailants and lodged an FIR under section 341/323 of RPC and started the investigation. |
