Jammu, Feb 17: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission has extended the date of submitting the Minimum Standard Procedure (MSP) certificates for Ph.D holders to February 25. Sources in JKPSC informed Early Times that a decision has been taken by Commission to grant 10 more days to the Ph.D candidates to submit the MSP certificates as per University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines of 2009. "Some of the candidates send the MSP certificates through post and taking a liberal view, Commission has extended the date to accept the MSP certificates till February 25", the official said, adding that in the meantime, they would work out the deficiencies in the subjects, in which the interviews would be held. The official further said that only the candidates having MSP certificates as per UGC guidelines of 2009 would be accepted. The official further said that interviews process would likely to resume in the last week of February. Secretary of JKPSC, Shakeel-ur-Rehman said that date to accept MSP has been extended till February 25. On being asked if the decision has been taken on the recommendation of Government, he said that Commission has not received any request in written from the government side. |
