jammu, Feb 17: Employees Joint Action Committee resentment against the delay in regularizing KGBV Teachers appointed in 2005 on the analogy of RET pattern but despite more than 10 years service their regularization process has been put at halt for unknown reasons.
An emergency meeting of EAC was held at Jammu under the Presidentship of State President Abdul Qayoom Wani in which regularization issue of KGBV Teachers and their hunger strike at Press Club Jammu. After the strong protest the KGBV Teachers in 2015 than Ex-Education Minister and Commissioner Secretary Education assured them that all the KGBV Teachers will be regularized within one month timeframe but nothing has been done for their regularization till date which compelled our daughters to come on roads once again and also compelled them to go on hunger strike from 16-02-2016 at Press Club Jammu.
They alleged that it is very unfortunate that our daughters are at hunger strike during nights but the authorities at the helm of affairs showed their criminal silence regarding this sensitive issue.
After the meeting President Employees Joint Action Committee Abdul Qayoom Wani along with his office bearers Farooq Ahmad Trali, Manzoor Ahmad Pampori, Ganesh Khajuria, Vinod Sharma, Mohd. Akbar Khan, Mohd. Rafiq Rather, Pir Nisar Ahmad, Jamayat Ali Agah, Rajinder Gupta, Darshan Kumar, Ghulam Nabi Sofi, Mir Fayaz, Khalid bashir tilgami Altaf Ahmad, Javed Ahmad and others visited the hunger strike spot and assured teachers at hunger strike that EJAC a representative body of 5 Lakh Employees of the State will fully support their call. |
